There was a lot of blarney, every song was instantly recognised from, ‘Irish Eyes Are Smiling’ and ‘Danny Boy’ thru to Queen’s ‘We Are The Champions’, The Beatles ‘Twist & Shout’ and, of course. a superb rendition of ‘Nessun Dorma’. And at every performance the tenors came out front of house to meet their patrons, and autograph the CD of the show – now available from our SHOP under CD’s for sale.

THE MANHATTAN TRANSFER:- Tim Hauser, Janis Siegel and Alan Paul have been around from the start. Cheryl Bentyne is the newbie – she signed on in 1978. “People see in us something that they wish there was more of in the world, which is harmony,” said Siegel.

RICK WAKEMAN: Since his early teens Rick had his eye on a career as a concert pianist, but he left the Royal College of Music college as doors began to open for him in the fast growing studio world as a session player and between 1969 and 1972, the name ‘Rick Wakeman’ began appearing on the credits of albums by such artists as Al Stewart, Elton John, Lou Reed, John Williams, Cat Stevens (including the classic piano on Morning Has Broken), Marc Bolan, Marsha Hunt, Mary Hopkin, Black Sabbath, and David Bowie .
