Ch-Ch-Ch Boogie is one of the pre-show songs about trains that sets the mood in the arenas for a fabulous night of spectacle and fun in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s amazing roller-skating musical STARLIGHT EXPRESS.
People left the arenas buzzing with excitement about what they’d seen. The reviews were uniformly appreciative, with superlatives such as “magical”, “high-energy”, “spectacular”, “awesome” etc., which is always very satisfying for us as Producers to hear and experience. Here is what one reviewer wrote.
There was a lot of blarney, but also every song was instantly recognised from, ‘Irish Eyes Are Smiling’ and ‘Danny Boy’ thru to Queen’s ‘We Are The Champions’, The Beatles ‘Twist & Shout’ and, of course. a superb rendition of ‘Nessun Dorma’. And at every performance the tenors came out front of house to meet their patrons, and autograph the CD of the show – now available from our SHOP under CD’s for sale.
